Question

i am studying medical admistration .i have to interview someone in my field.if you could answer my question i would appreciate it!
1-what is your job title?
2-what education did you need?
3-Do you like your work?
4-where do you see yourself in 5 yrs?
5-Are there questions i should be asking?

Answer

I am the President and CEO of a community hospital.  Educational requirements for the position is a Masters Degree;
I have a Masters in Healthcare Administration, undergraduate degree in business and accounting, and have completed post
graduate work in health policy and ethics.
I thoroughly enjoy community hospital settings; you work with great professionals and are close to the community.
Ultimately, an administrator can great influence the healthcare in their community as well as that of their organization.
I have running hospital for many years and still get great satisfaction out of it;
 I hope to continue my active involvement in hospitals however in 5 plus years, likely will no long be running a hospital
 but consulting with many.
I think the questions to ask relate to what are the challenges that healthcare, and healthcare administration are facing?
 What skills are needed to succeed in healthcare? And for yourself, why would you like to work in these challenging settings?
